Space Future’s own Carol Pinchefsky has won the 2012 NewSpace Journalism Award, given by the Space Frontier Foundation (SFF). She will be accepting the award in person at their gala in Santa Clara, California, on July 28, 2012.

The stream of space vehicle and tourism coverage in the media continues into 1998. The March edition of "T3", a UK technology oriented magazine, features a 5 page article on Space Tourism, concentrating both the problems with the existing space programme in general and NASA in particular, and on the commercial sector, focusing on the companies Bristol Spaceplanes and Zegrahm Space Voyages. Honorable mentions also go to Kelly Space technology, Kistler Aerospace and Rotary Rocket.

A British travel agency, Wildwings, is offering holidaymakers a chance to take an extra-terrestrial sightseeing tour early in the next century. Widlwings is acting as an agent for Zegrahm Space Voyages, an American adventure holiday specialist based in Seattle. Zegrahm intends to announce details of departure dates, prices and excatly what craft will be used in October.
