Space Future Editor Wins NewSpace Journalism Award
Thanks to the Space Frontier Foundation
by Peter Wainwright
Space Future’s own Carol Pinchefsky has won the 2012 NewSpace Journalism Award, given by the Space Frontier Foundation (SFF). She will be accepting the award in person at their gala in Santa Clara, California, on July 28, 2012.

SFF wrote in their press release,

“Pinchefsky is a freelance writer who has frequently covered commercial space topics with insight and honesty. Her strong support, and often defense, of NewSpace has been a theme in her Forbes.com articles, at the SFF’s New York events and during her many years as Editor of SpaceFuture.com, a site that advocates for space settlement and space entrepreneurialism.”
Pinchefsky said, “I’m honored to my toes. This is a great time to be involved in the world of space, and I’m thrilled to have watched it grow from a radical idea into a budding industry.”

Space Future was one of the Internet’s first torchbearers of space tourism, a cause that has been taken up by the Space Frontier Foundation, the Space Tourism Society, and many, many others.

Space Future wishes to congratulate Pinchefsky on her accomplishment.
