You have a 4-year degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Astrophysics, or a related medical field, plus experience with a government space agency, and perhaps you have trained as a Payload Specialist with some extra-vehicular activity. The company, located in North Las Vegas, NV, currently has two inflatable prototype space habitats orbiting the earth and is busily constructing the next-generation habitat leading to occupancy as a space hotel. A wide variety of opportunities now exist for qualified applicants. Bigelow needs qualified employees to work with the marketing team to secure government and corporate clients, as welll as with the design and fabrication teams to help optimize layout of systems for on-orbit serviceability and ergonomics. Future employees are expected to work with the mission control team, help develop astronaut training programs, and best of all, fly as an astronaut aboard the Bigelow Aerospace Station Complex. There they will manage onboard safety, maintain the Station Complex, and help clients with payloads or experiments.
