STA Conference in Washington imminent

The newly formed Space Travel and Tourism devision of the STA will be hosting a space tourism conference in Washington this coming June, entitled:
"GOING PUBLIC": MOVING TOWARD THE DEVELOPMENT OF A LARGE SPACE TOURISM BUSINESS
The conference is taking place at the Capitol Hill Club, Washington, D.C from June 23-24, 1999.
The theme of the conference is to "...address the present state of space tourism and set the agenda for initiatives to be taken to resolve those previously identified inhibitors from the cooperative STA-NASA 'General Public Space Travel and Tourism' Study" and is well timed to coincide with the recent publication of volume 2 of the NASA/STA report, volume one of which was published last year.
