Space Tourism Fair in Long Beach, CA
The Space Tourism Society
hosts the Space Fair 98 at the Queen Mary
Convention Center in Long Beach, California this week. A NSS press

Besides STS and the Orange County Space Society chapter of NSS the
following space tourism related organizations were represented:
- Civilian Astronauts Corps./Advent Launch Systems
- Encounter 2001/Celestis
- Space Adventures
- X-Prize
Foundation/First USA Visa
Several other organization participated including Boeing, Lockheed
Martin, Kodak, Sprint and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Procedes of a banquet held in conjuction with the Space Fair benefited
the Challenger Center at California State University, Domingez Hills.
The local newspaper, the Long Beach Press-Telegram ran a front page
article and color photo about the Space Fair in the Saturday, 18 July
edition.
